Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim has confirmed defender Ayden Heaven will miss the game at Nottingham Forest tomorrow.
The teenager suffered a foot injury against Leicester earlier this month, but Amorim confirmed the issue is not serious in his pre-match press conference on Monday.
He is recovering – he is not yet ready to play, but he will return this season, for sure,” Amorim said.
Several injured players have also returned to training, and Amorim confirmed their progress.
“Mason Mount is feeling better, but he was on the bench in the last game,” Amorim added.
“Kobbie [Mainoo] is almost ready but not ready for this game, Jonny [Evans] and Ayden are recovering, and Licha [Martinez] is out.
“[Harry] Maguire is also ready to go to the game, and [Leny] Yoro, yes.”
Luke Shaw remains unavailable despite resuming first-team training. The left-back last played for United against Luton Town on February 18 last year.
Patrick Dorgu is available again after serving a three-match suspension for a red card.
United have a packed schedule ahead, with the Manchester derby coming five days after facing Forest.
Amorim’s men will then travel to France for the first leg of their Europa League quarter-final against Lyon.
A trip to St James’ Park follows, where they will meet League Cup winners Newcastle United.
