Another Barcelona star in the sights of Saudi clubs | OneFootball

A member of the midfield ranks at La Liga giants Barcelona has made his way onto the radar of a number of Saudi clubs.

That’s according to Diario Sport, who point towards Pedri as the player in question.

Spanish international Pedri has of course enjoyed a scintillating campaign to date, looking back to his brilliant best in the engine room setup of new boss Hansi Flick.

The 22-year-old has been ruled out of Barcelona’s La Liga meeting with Valencia on Sunday night, but prior to as much, had played his part in each and every one of the Blaugrana’s fixtures this season.

And such efforts on Pedri’s part, evidently, have not gone unnoticed in the Middle East.

This comes amid confirmation on the part of Sport that, during Barcelona’s recent trip to Saudi Arabia for the Spanish Super Cup, the midfielder’s entourage were contacted over a potential transfer to the SPL.

The terms of a lucrative offer were even laid out.

Pedri, however, made clear that he only has eyes for Barca, ahead of putting pen to paper on a new contract in Catalunya’s capital through the summer of 2030.
