The Uruguayan attacker has been linked with a move to the Saudi Pro League and he is open to leave the Premier League side.

Not only Nunez’s exit seems inevitable, the Merseyside club are also open to offers for Diogo Jota and Luis Diaz.

With his future uncertain at the club, the Reds have started planning for life without him and the Liverpool boss is tracking four strikers to replace his current number 9.

According to Teamtalk, Liverpool have stepped up their search for a new striker and they are tracking four in-form strikers for next season.

As per the report, one of the names they are tracking is Newcastle United attacker Alexander Isak, who scored against them in the Carabao Cup final.

However, signing him would take a significant portion of their transfer funds which is why they are looking for more affordable options elsewhere.

Liverpool have shortlisted several options

Joao Pedro of Brighton has impressed the Liverpool management and he is being considered as one of the options. The club feel that the attacker can still improve his game under Slot if he moves to Anfield.

Liam Delap of Ipswich is another name on the shortlist of the Premier League giants. He has scored 10 goals for Ipswich Town who are fighting for relegation. The Reds could challenge Chelsea for his signature.

Atletico Madrid’s Julian Alvarez has impressed the officials at Anfield but since he recently moved to the Spanish club, signing him would not be easy. The former Man City man has scored 23 goals this season and provided five assists.

Wolves attacker Matheus Cunha has impressed Liverpool and he is being named as one of their top targets for the summer. The Brazilian is expected to move to a bigger club in the summer after his impressive performances this season.
