Arsenal & Liverpool eyeing move for Barcelona star | OneFootball

Two of the Premier League’s leading clubs have set their respective sights on the signing of a headline member of the attacking ranks at La Liga giants Barcelona.

That’s according to Mundo Deportivo, citing TBR News, who point towards Raphinha as the player in question.

Wide-man Raphinha, for his part, has of course enjoyed a scintillating campaign thus far in 2024/25.

Looking like a player reborn under the watch of Hansi Flick, the Brazilian international has established himself as one of the first names on the team sheet of his new headmaster.

All told, in 24 appearances across all competitions, Raphinha has racked up a hugely impressive tally of 17 goals and 10 assists.

And such endeavours, it would appear, have not gone at all unnoticed across the continent…

As per a report from MD, a trio of Premier League heavyweights, in Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City, are all expressing a keen interest in Raphinha’s signature with a view to next season.

Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal, in fact, ‘are moving through intermediaries to test the option of the signing’.

It is also important to note, however, that Barcelona themselves have shown absolutely zero openness when it comes to negotiating the terms of a deal.
