Paris Saint-Germain might face the departure of Milan Škriniar, while Presnel Kimpembe and Lucas Hernandez are still recovering from injuries. To strengthen their defense, the club could turn to Serie A in search of their next center-back.
With Marquinhos now in his 30s, PSG might also consider adding more youth to their defensive line. In 2024, the French giants secured two promising talents, Lucas Beraldo and Willian Pacho, but their defensive rebuild may still be in progress, as another defender is reportedly on their radar.
Over recent months, PSG has been linked to several defenders. During the final hours of the summer transfer window, they pursued Tomás Araújo but ultimately fell short in securing the signing.

Tuttomercatoweb reports that PSG are targeting Isak Hien from Atalanta as they look to strengthen their defense. The Swedish central defender is said to be one of the top names on the club’s shortlist for potential signings.
A report in October revealed that Arsenal also have Hien on their radar to bolster their defense. Moreover, the Premier League side would be willing to propose an offer worth €50 million (£42 million).
This week, Foot Mercato reported that PSG sporting advisor Luis Campos has even already met with the entourage of RC Lens defender Abdukodir Khusanov without this having resulted in any offer so far.
