Arsenal punched their ticket to the UEFA Champions League semifinals with a 2-1 win over Real Madrid in the second leg of their quarterfinal clash, cruising to a 5-1 aggregate victory to set up a showdown with Paris Saint-Germain.

Bukayo Saka had a chance to put Arsenal ahead early but missed a first-half penalty, giving Real Madrid a brief glimmer of hope as they looked to erase a three-goal deficit. That didn’t last long.

Saka made up for the miss in the 65th minute, slotting home the opener to put Arsenal in front. Vinicius Jr. hit back almost instantly, equalizing just two minutes later.

But Arsenal remained in control, and Gabriel Martinelli sealed the win with a stoppage-time strike to cap off a dominant two-leg performance.

After eliminating Real Madrid from the Champions League, Declan Rice spoke to TNT Sports and was asked about facing PSG again after meeting them in the league phase of this season’s competition.

“Top team,” Declan Rice said (h/t BBC). “We played them once already, but they’re a different team to what they were back then.”
