According to Mundo Deportivo, a preliminary agreement has been reached between FC Barcelona and Real Betis to terminate Vitor Roque’s loan spell, allowing the Brazilian striker to complete a transfer to Palmeiras.
The deal is expected to be finalised today to ensure Roque signs before the Brazilian transfer window closes on Friday.
Barcelona and Palmeiras have already agreed on the transfer conditions, set at €25.5 million for 80% of Roque’s economic rights, plus additional variables.
However, some final details remain before the deal is officially concluded, following a complex negotiation process.
As compensation for terminating Roque’s loan before the end of the season, Real Betis will receive an additional 30% of the rights to winger Ez Abde. The Andalusian club already owns 50% of Abde’s rights, while the remaining half belongs to Barcelona.

Betis originally signed Abde in the final hours of the 2023 summer transfer window, paying Barcelona €7.5 million for 50% of his rights.
The Moroccan international was valued at €15 million at the time, a price he maintains according to Transfermarkt. The additional 30% now offered to Betis is estimated at around €4.5 million, though its true value will depend on any future sale of the player.
Palmeiras will also cover part of Vitor Roque’s salary for the remainder of the season. Factoring in this contribution, Betis’ total compensation for releasing the forward is valued at over €6 million.
La Liga and the RFEF tried to block the operation citing legal issues but with FIFA giving the green light, the deal is all set to go through before the transfer window closes tomorrow in Brazil.
