FC Barcelona are all set to lock horns with CA Osasuna on Thursday night at Estadi Lluis Companys in their rescheduled La Liga fixture.
Heading into the match, the Catalans are sweating over the availability of some of their defensive personnel.
Inigo Martinez suffered an injury against Atletico Madrid before the international break, but resumed training today and could be available for the game.
Meanwhile, Ronald Araujo’s availability remains uncertain as he will be returning from international duty late on Wednesday evening.
As for Pau Cubarsi, the youngster picked up a knock while playing for Spain last week and was sent back to Barcelona.
Even though earlier reports suggested that Cubarsi will rejoin training tomorrow and be fit to face Osasuna, a new update from Mundo Deportivo suggests otherwise.
Indeed, as per the report, Cubarsi’s participation on Thursday against Osasuna remains highly uncertain.

Despite starting physiotherapy to recover from the right ankle sprain he sustained while playing for Spain, the current feeling is that the 18-year-old may struggle to be ready in time.
As already mentioned, Hansi Flick will likely be without Ronald Araujo, who is unlikely to make the Osasuna match after being included in Marcelo Bielsa’s Uruguay squad for Tuesday’s World Cup qualifier against Bolivia.
With Araujo playing in the early hours of Wednesday (Spanish time), there is little chance he will be fit enough to feature on Thursday.
Despite the circumstances, Flick is reluctant to risk Cubarsi if there is a chance of worsening the injury. As such, Inigo Martinez is expected to partner Eric Garcia in central defence against Osasuna.
