Barcelona pair tipped to return to matchday squad for Atlético Madrid meeting | OneFootball

Two Barcelona stars could be afforded recalls to the club’s matchday setup for their upcoming meeting with Atlético Madrid.

That’s according to Barca insider Sergi Capdevila of Diario Sport, who points towards Ansu Fatu and Sergi Domínguez as the pair in question.

Both wide-man Ansu and defender Domínguez have spent recent weeks watching on from afar, as Hansi Flick’s troops have toiled in efforts to extend their advantage atop the La Liga table.

In the case of the former, as much came owing to a muscular injury suffered whilst training.

Domínguez, meanwhile, linked back up with Barca Atlètic, amid an injury crisis at the heart of Albert Sánchez’s backline.

Both players, though, were back in the thick of things in training at The Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper earlier today.

And as much could well culminate in respective recalls to Hansi Flick’s squad for Barcelona’s crunch top-of-the-table showdown with Diego Simeone’s Atlético Madrid on Saturday night.
