Barcelona’s form in recent weeks may well be a cause of concern. However, there is no denying that the future looks bright for the club.
After years, La Masia has after all delivered serious promise in the form of talented young players and it is no surprise that it is again the academy that is churning out all the solutions the Catalans need.
Year after year, these young talents continue to rise and grow in stature and AS now bring to perspective the sheer scale at which such a transformation is occurring.
As relayed by Transfermarkt via the Spanish outlet, the value of the 17 academy graduates currently playing for the club or to have debuted with the first team so far has already grown by a staggering €193.2 million in just one year.

The biggest contributor to the equation, needless to say, is Lamine Yamal who was valued at €60 million last year but has now grown to €150 million, thus contributing by a growth of €90 million.
The other big explosions have been Pau Cubarsi and Fermin Lopez. The former has gone up from €1.5 million to €40 million while the latter has skyrocketed from €15 million to €50 million in a year.
Marc Bernal, who suffered an unfortunate injury early in the season, saw his value go up by €4 million regardless while Marc Casado has shot up in value from €600,000 to €15 million.
Apart from the big fish, other players like Hector Fort, Inaki Pena and Gerard Martin have all grown decently in value while others including Pau Victor have seen a rise too.
Notably, only Ansu Fati has seen his valuation go south while Alejandro Balde has also seen a slight dip in his worth.
