Bayern Munich & Chelsea eyeing move for Atlético Madrid star | OneFootball

Two of European football’s leading clubs have set their sights on the signature of Atlético Madrid talent Pablo Barrios.

That’s according to German outlet BILD, as cited by Mundo Deportivo, who have on Tuesday provided an insight into the situation.

Midfielder Barrios has of course played an increasingly prominent role in the midfield ranks in Diego Simeone’s Atlético squad this season.

All told, across the Rojiblancos’ 24 La Liga outings, the Spaniard has featured from the off in 18.

And Barrios has been widely hailed for his performances, as the midfielder continues to excel on both sides of the ball.

Still just 21 years of age, Barrios looks a player capable of manning the engine room at the Wanda Metropolitano for many years to come.

In turn, it will no doubt come as a source of concern for those of an Atléti persuasion to learn of outside interest in the youngster’s signature beginning to mount.
