Braga manager Carlos Carvalhal analyzed his side’s performance in tonight’s 3-0 loss to Roma at the Stadio Olimpico.

In his post-match interview with Sky Sport, Carvalhal said, “We started well in the first 10 minutes, with good personality, trying to keep the ball, then Roma scored immediately and hit the crossbar, the team was scared and frayed.”

“We then immediately conceded the second goal in the second half, the red card complicated things even if paradoxically then there was our best moment.”

“This was a deserved victory for Roma, we could have done better tonight.”

“We have 7 points, 6 are still up for grabs. We wanted to qualify for the cups, then go to the next round. I am confident, we can do it, in the league we are -3 from fourth place, we have advanced in the cup.”
