Eddie Howe with happy memories of facing Brendan Rodgers whilst he (Eddie Howe) has been at Newcastle United.

Brendan Rodgers when at Leicester City won 4-0 against NUFC the month after Eddie Howe arrived at Newcastle United, having inherited a complete shambles from Mike Ashley and Steve Bruce.

However, the next four clashes saw Eddie Howe’s NUFC win 2-1, 3-0 and 2-0 against Leicester boss Brendan Rodgers.

Then in his very final Leicester match against Newcastle United, Brendan Rodgers came to Tyneside and fluked a 0-0 draw as United absolutely battered them. Happily though, that 0-0 draw in May 2023 was the result that confirmed fourth place and a Champions League place for Eddie Howe and NUFC.
