The little Japanese striker has been nothing short of sensational since signing for the club in 2021 from Vissel Kobe for a fee of £4.5 million. A fee that proved to be an absolute bargain.
Kyogo to date has scored 85 goals in 164 appearances winning 8 honours in total. Kyogo has proven to be a man for the big occasion by contributing to that success by scoring when it matters, in cup finals, vital league games and European games, he’s more than proved his credentials.
It’s not just his deadliness in front of goal, it’s his all round play which has impressed. He’s a true team player and gives everything for the side, which the supporters truly appreciate.
Unfortunately there has been doubts over Kyogo’s future lately, but when and if he leaves he’ll go with everyone’s best wishes and gratitude for his contribution and dedication to the club.
For now though he is thankfully very much still a Celtic player, and today we wish him a very happy birthday. All the best Kyogo and a few goals on Wednesday night would be a great way to finish off your 30th birthday celebrations!
