More UEFA Women's Champions League action continues on Wednesday, with four games scheduled across Europe. Here is what went down.

Chelsea rout Twente

Chelsea stepped closer to securing top spot in Group B after a thumping 6-1 win over Twente.

Catarina Macario kickstarted the party when she kneed the ball up to herself and volleyed home the opener. But Twente rallied and drew level after a mistake thanks to Kayleigh van Dooren's penalty.

Immediately after the equaliser, however, Chelsea let the goals fly.

Oriane Jean-Francois beat goalkeeper Olivia Clark at her near post thanks to a deflection, Mayra Ramirez chipped home from well outside the box, and Erin Cuthbert drove home to add a lucky fourth.

The same theme continued after the break, too. Sjoeke Nusken headed home to make it 5-1 before Eve Perisset ensured it was six just before full-time with a volley inside the box.

Bruun shines as Madrid down Celtic

Real Madrid secured second place in Group B after a 2-0 win over Celtic.

The visitors dominated the statistics, as Celtic had zero shots after an hour of action, but one moment of brilliance broke the deadlock in the first half.

Signe Bruun's awareness was the difference as she picked up the ball outside the box, looked up and looped it into the net beyond goalkeeper Kelsey Daugherty.

Then it was again the Dane who doubled the lead after the break. Bruun ran into the box and thumped home a header after a cross from Naomie Feller.

A late Alba Redondo goal then ensured the three points were heading back to Spain.

Lyon run riot over Galatasaray

Scorers: Hegerberg 19', Dabritz 24', Wardlow 34' (OG), Renard 49', Van de Donk 69', Le Sommer 76'

It was one-way traffic in Türkiye as Lyon secured top spot in Group A with a 6-0 victory over Galatasaray.

UWCL legend Ada Hegerberg opened the scoring with a vintage header before Sara Däbrtiz found herself in the right place at the right time to blast home near the penalty spot.

A Jazmin Wardlow own-goal virtually put the game out of reach for the hosts before goalkeeper Gamze Nur Yaman was again forced to pick the ball out of her net in the second half.

Wendie Renard scored a trademark header from the corner before Daniëlle van de Donk strolled on through and scored the fifth from the edge of the box.

Eugénie Le Sommer later piled on the misery as Lyon made it 32 shots on the night compared to just two for Galatasaray.

Jónsdóttir heroics eliminates Roma

Wolfsburg had to win by more than two goals against Roma to reach the quarter-finals, and Sveindís Jane Jónsdóttir's performance helped them win 6-1.

Star striker Alex Popp started the party when she picked up the ball in the top right of the box and perfectly sent it into the far left corner in one swift movement.

Valentina Giacinti, however, turned things level minutes after the restart despite Wolfsburg's dominance. The Italian pounced on a bobbled ball and rolled home into an empty net.

But Wolfsburg turned things up a notch. Lineth Beerensteyn turned things back in their favour after six slick passes found the Dutchwoman and she rolled home into the left corner.

Then substitute Jónsdóttir made all the difference with four goals in 24 minutes.

One minute after entering the pitch, she strolled into the box and made things 3-1 before later poking home a brace.

Her hat-trick was secured when the ball trickled into the far right of the net and her fourth arrived when she pounced on a loose ball in the box.
