One Chelsea player has been named as the biggest market value hike in the Premier League so far this season, and it will come as no surprise who that is.

I think when you all read that title you would have fully known that this will be Cole Palmer. This man is lighting up world football right now and went from being a fringe player at Manchester City, to a household name around the world and a star player for Chelsea.

EXCLUSIVE! Chelsea ‘seriously consider’ January approach for Premier League centre back!!

Luckily this season, he has not had to be the main talisman, because Chelsea have other players stepping up. But last season he literally dragged them through at times and without him, I do wonder where on earth Chelsea would have ended up finishing in the league.

Palmer has been on fire, and he has been topping all the stats charts and banging in goals and assists left, right, and centre. He has literally been in dreamland.

And his value has rocketed as a result, obviously…

Palmer’s market value soars

As you can see in the image above, according to Transfermarkt, Palmer’s market valuation is now around 130m euros, and he tops the list of biggest upgrades amongst the Premier League crop this season.

I don’t think there would be a single person who would disagree with this forecasted rise of value. Although I am pretty sure that Chelsea would not even put a valuation on him right now, but if any club was wanting to put an offer in for Palmer any times soon then I believe it would have to be well north of even the fee that is quoted here.

Chelsea have pretty much already trippled their investment in Palmer, who really cost peanuts in the grand scheme of things.
