Chelsea ramp up pursuit of €95m-rated Manchester United winger Alejandro Garnacho | OneFootball

Chelsea FC are set to ramp up their pursuit of Manchester United winger Alejandro Garnacho (20), according to L’Equipe. The Blues have been monitoring the 20-year-old Manchester United Academy graduate for a while now. Garnacho is also of interest for Napoli with Antonio Conte’s Partenopei in the market for a winger after Khvicha Kvaratskhelia’s €70m sale to Ligue 1 champions PSG.

The outlet understands that Chelsea are insistent on luring Garnacho as they intend to submit a bid to their Premier League rivals. The Argentine international is tied to the Red Devils with a contract set to expire in 2028. Manchester United currently value Garnacho at €95m (£80m) and it remains to be seen whether Ruben Amorim would want to part ways with the Argentine considering United are also looking for a way out for Marcus Rashford.

Chelsea are reportedly not put off by United’s demands as they expect fresh funds from the sale of Christopher Nkunku. Bayern Munich are reportedly keen to offer the France international a way back in the Bundesliga, where the former PSG attacking midfielder thrived with RB Leipzig.
