San Jose, CA.- Guadalajara was lord and master of the Clásico Tapatío played this Thursday night at PayPal Park, where they clearly outplayed Atlas 2-0. The Rebaño Sagrado was embraced by the Rojiblanca Nation that gathered in the stands and supported them at all times.

The first 45 minutes were all about Mexico's most popular and beloved team, which was able to take possession of the ball and then look for depth through the speed of Cowell and Brizuela on the flanks. At 29', the Rojiblancos were rewarded when the Rojinegro goalkeeper left a rebound in the small area and Mateo Chávez headed the ball home.

With the resumption of the match, the Rebaño Sagrado managed the advantage through possession, in addition to effectively containing the rival's attempts to equalize. Gerardo Espinoza took the opportunity to make changes to the team and gave minutes to the entire squad, which paid off in the evening.

At 85', a perfectly managed counterattack between 'Chicharito' and Ariel Castro left a perfect pass filtered by Hernández, which left the Rojiblanco youth player one-on-one, only for him to send it into the net with a cross-shot.

Chivas will hold a second friendly match this week as part of the first Rebaño Tour of 2025, as they will face Xolos at Snapdragon Stadium in San Diego, California, next Sunday, March 23, at 4:30 PM (TCM).
