Manchester City head to Wembley Stadium once again with the aim of reaching a third successive FA Cup Final, knowing they face a stern test on Sunday afternoon.
Pep Guardiola and his players come into the contest off the back of a huge 2-1 win over Aston Villa to further strengthen their hunt for UEFA Champions League qualification for the next campaign.
It is Premier League action that will no doubt be the priority for Manchester City as they aim for a top-five finish, and a home meeting with Wolves on Friday night will be next on the agenda beyond this weekend’s FA Cup semi-final.
Despite significant victories over Manchester United and Tottenham in their last run of matches since an FA Cup quarter-final win, Forest have slumped to defeats at the hands of Everton and Aston Villa.
On the injury front, there has been a significant boost this week as Rodri and Erling Haaland returned to first-team training but are likely to remain sidelined for a few more days or weeks yet before they are deemed fully match-fit.
The pair join Ederson, Nathan Ake, and John Stones on the sidelines for this one while Oscar Bobb is believed to be ruled out with a minor hamstring issue, although the Norwegian is expected to return before the end of the season.
