Two of the Premier League's form sides lock horns on Saturday when Crystal Palace host Everton at Selhurst Park.

The Eagles have won five of their last six matches in all competitions as they continue their resurgence under Oliver Glasner. Having made an underwhelming start to the campaign, the south London outfit are now on the up and have risen to 12th in the Premier League table.

Jean-Philippe Mateta has been key to Palace's eye-catching ascent up the standings and the same can be said of Everton forward Beto over recent weeks. The striker has scored three in his last two Premier League outings, including the opener during Wednesday's chaotic Merseyside derby draw with Liverpool.

James Tarkowski's 98th-minute equaliser against the league leaders means Everton are now unbeaten in their previous four league matches, including victories against Leicester City, Brighton & Hove Albion and Tottenham Hotspur. The return of David Moyes to the dugout has helped the Toffees climb ten points clear of the relegation zone.

Eberechi Eze, Ismaila Sarr and Eddie Nketiah were all absent for the FA Cup fourth round victory over Doncaster Rovers but Glasner has confirmed that the attacking trio are available for Everton's visit. The former two should return to the starting XI, with Nketiah likely used from the bench.

Ben Chilwell made his debut against Doncaster last time out and could feature in some capacity on Saturday, even if he will struggle to move ahead of Tyrick Mitchell in the pecking order.

The Eagles are still without the injured group of Chadi Riad, Joel Ward and Cheick Doucoure.

Everton will be without Abdoulaye Doucoure after the midfielder was sent off after the final whistle in the Merseyside derby for his part in the skirmish with Curtis Jones. Fellow midfielder Orel Mangala is missing for the remainder of the season with an ACL tear.

Seamus Coleman is doubtful to feature on Saturday but could make the journey to Selhurst Park. Nathan Patterson will be absent with a hamstring injury, though.

Everton are missing four in the final third of the pitch, with centre-forwards Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Armando Broja and Youssef Chermiti all unavailable. Dwight McNeil is still missing having been absent since early December.

With both teams in encouraging form and high on confidence, Saturday's duel should be tightly fought. Both sides have been stubborn defensively since the turn of the year and are capable of playing directly on the counter-attack courtesy of their imposing centre-forwards.

There's little to separate these two on paper and the battle at Selhurst will be one of fine margins, with a moment of inspiration or defensive error perhaps proving decisive.

The points may well be shared between two of the division's most impressive sides in 2025.
