Leeds United’s impressive form during April has been recognised with manager Daniel Farke nominated for Sky Bet Championship Manager of the Month.

Following a draw away against Luton to start April, the Whites picked up impressive victories over Middlesbrough and Preston North End.

Then, over the Easter weekend, United beat Oxford United 1-0 away from home to claim a crucial three points, before putting six past Stoke City on the day that would see Leeds promoted back to the Premier League.

Another memorable Monday at Elland Road then brought a 4-0 triumph over Bristol City for the eventual champions, taking the team’s record over April to five wins and one draw from six matches, with 14 goals scored and just two conceded.

Should Farke win the accolade, it will be his third of the campaign having already being named Manager of the Month in December and February.

The winner will be selected by an EFL panel and announced at 6am on Friday 9th May. Also nominated were Valerien Ismael (Blackburn Rovers), Alex Neil (Millwall) and Scott Parker (Burnley).
