Just weeks after having a penalty ruled out for a rare double-kick penalty blunder against Real Madrid, Julián Alvarez overcame his demons against Real Valladolid on Monday.
The Argentinian struck a well-taken first-half penalty for Atlético de Madrid - a sign that he has truly shaken off any hangover from his Champions League mistake.
Alvarez's manager Diego Simeone appeared to see the funny side as he mimicked two strikes with his fingers after his striker convered from 12 yards in the LaLiga contest.
Simeone clearly hasn't held a grudge against his top scorer for the season.
