Donohue to referee Emirates FA Cup fourth round tie | OneFootball

Eddie Howe's side travel to the West Midlands aiming to book their spot in the fifth round of the competition against the Blues, who sit in top spot of League One, and this will be the first time Donohue has officiated a fixture involving the Magpies.

Donohue started refereeing at the age of 14 and, after working his way through the English football pyramid, made his Premier League debut when taking charge of AFC Bournemouth's visit of Brentford in May 2024.

The 35-year-old official, who has made over 200 appearances as a referee in the professional game, has overseen 16 Championship fixtures so far this term and has handed out four red cards so far this season.

Please note that Video Assistant Referees (VAR) will not be in operation until the fifth round of the competition.
