Everton have seen a huge revival in their fortunes since David Moyes has returned to the dugout at Goodison Park.

Under the Scottish boss, the Toffees have registered four wins from seven matches and they are now sitting 13th in the Premier League standings.

Everton’s most recent victory at Crystal Palace means Moyes has picked up 13 points since coming into the role in January.

Relegation fears are not completely over, but the Merseyside outfit are now happily looking up the table under the 61-year-old.

The club could make some quality additions for Moyes in the summer, but they are also looking at talented youngsters who can develop into top players.

According to journalist Alan Nixon, Everton are keen to sign Rotherham United defender Harrison Duncan.

It is said that they are set to step up their interest in the young centre-back and could invite him to Finch Farm for a trial.

Duncan is described as a tall defender who boasts an impressive record at youth level, scoring 11 goals from centre-half this season.

He has twice earned himself a place on the Millers’ first-team bench so far this term.

Duncan was handed his first start by Steve Evans in the EFL Trophy against Newcastle United’s Under-21 side back in October.

If Everton decide to complete the move, it will certainly be one for the future.

However, he would find all the facilities at the club to develop his game.

Signing Duncan will likely not bring a lot of excitement among fans, but this could be smart business from the Toffees.
