FC Bayern have signed Jonas Urbig. The 21-year-old goalkeeper joins from 1. FC Köln and will be at the German record champions until 2029.
Jonas Urbig has signed a contract with FC Bayern until the summer of 2029 - here are the first images of the goalkeeper at the record champions.

He is one of the most promising young goalkeepers in German football, is very ambitious and has huge potential. Jonas is a modern goalkeeper who, with the way he interprets the goalkeeping game fits in very well with FC Bayern's style of play."

Jonas Urbig took his first steps as a footballer in the youth setup at 1. FC Köln where, among other things, he celebrated winning the German championship at U17 level. He made his professional debut in January 2023 while on loan at Bundesliga 2 club Jahn Regensburg and then earned a place in the senior team at his home club after another season on loan at SpVgg Greuther Fürth. He's made a total of 60 appearances in the German second tier to date. Urbig has been involved in the German Football Association's (DFB) youth teams since October 2019. So far, he has made eight appearances for the Germany U21s.
