Inter midfielder Davide Frattesi decided to talk straight to Simone Inzaghi about his frustration over the lack of playing time but was reportedly left upset by his coach’s indifference.

Unlike in the past, when he often proved a decisive substitute, the Italy international seemed rather demotivated when he came on in the final minutes of his side’s Supercoppa Italiana final against Milan as he feels the status of midfield backup doesn’t reflect his worth.

Frattesi disappointed after chat with Inzaghi about lack of Inter opportunities

According to Calciomercato.com, such behaviour was a consequence of a previous chat the 25-year-old had with Inzaghi, as he decided to share his disappointment for his limited opportunities on the pitch with the Nerazzurri’s manager.

However, Frattesi was far from pleased after speaking with the former Lazio boss, as the midfielder felt he was no longer in his coach’s plans, with the Italian tactician looking indifferent about the prospect of his player’s potential departure.

After learning about the player’s willingness to leave the club in January, Inter set a price tag of €45m, as they are said to be open to a sale already in the winter transfer window.

However, as much as both Roma and Napoli seem interested in signing the former Sassuolo man, the Nerazzurri’s high demands are currently discouraging them from making an official offer.
