Michael O’Neill’s side can seal promotion to League B in Belfast
Northern Ireland can seal Nations League promotion when they host Belarus in Belfast tonight.
Only the side finishing top of Group C3 will go straight up to League B, with the second-placed nation earning their spot in a promotion play-off in the New Year.
As it stands, Northern Ireland lead the way on seven points and will be promoted if they emerge victorious at Windsor Park and if Bulgaria fail to beat Luxembourg in the penultimate fixtures of the campaign.
Michael O'Neill’s side actually took control of Group C3 during the October international break as they followed up a goalless draw with Belarus by putting five past Bulgaria on their visit to Belfast.
Though the two teams couldn't be separated when they met at the ZTE Arena in Hungary last month, Belarus remain the only unbeaten side in the group and will be certain of avoiding relegation if they beat Northern Ireland.
TV channel and live stream: Friday night’s game will be broadcast live and for free on Viaplay International’s YouTube channel. Kick-off is at 7:45pm GMT.
