Recent form

Spurs are looking to bounce back from their defeat to AZ Alkmaar on Thursday. They have lost four of their last six in all competitions but have won three of their last four in the Premier League.

Bournemouth have suffered a dip recently, having lost their last two league games. They did knock Wolves out of the FA Cup last time out, however, winning on penalties following a 1-1 draw.

What’s been said?

Ange Postecoglou on the possibility of resting players ahead of their crucial Europa League second leg: “The biggest game of the season is Sunday first,” he said.

“Obviously we want to continue in the competition (the Europa League). We want to win it so we have to win on Thursday night or we’re out.

“In that context it’s the only competition left for us to try and win something so it’s definitely the biggest game but I have to make sure that none of them are thinking about that.

“I’m going to make sure today that they are all thinking about Sunday because it’s really important for us.

“We have to improve our league position.”

AFC Bournemouth’s Andoni Iraola on Spurs: “Whenever they are playing well they are difficult to stop. It’s true that they’ve had different games – games where they’ve played really well, games where they haven’t been as good. This is a place where if you want to get a result you have to be very good.”
