Graham Potter is having a big impact on West Ham, with Gonzo admitting he is excited by what he’s seen so far.

West Ham came away with a deserved point from Villa Park yesterday, which arguably should have been more, following what was a dominant performance especially in the second half.

Despite Potter having to work with a makeshift team due to injuries and suspension, the work on the training ground was evident, as West Ham put in a solid effort which showcased a style and system that Potter is clearly looking to implement

Following the win, Hammers Chat Forum host Gonzo shared his thoughts on the display from Potters side, admitting he’s excited by what the future holds under the former Brighton boss.

“I thought that was an outstanding performance, especially in the second half,” stated Gonzo. “The fact that Potter managed to get a balanced and attacking display from a very makeshift defensive set of players, gives me real excitement for what he can do when we have players back from injury,”
