Inter Milan president Beppe Marotta held a lengthy motivational speech yesterday to boost the squad’s morale after a dismal Juventus loss.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport via FCInterNews, Marotta talked for ten minutes to help the Nerazzurri get back on track.
Despite dominating the game in terms of shots and possession, Inter Milan slumped to a narrow defeat on Sunday.
Indeed, Francisco Conceicao’s second-half winner condemned Simone Inzaghi to his second Derby d’Italia loss in Turin.
As a result, Inter fell two points behind leaders Napoli at the end of the round.
Beppe Marotta met the team at Appiano Gentile yesterday.
He and his associates held an emergency meeting with Inzaghi’s team to help the squad mentally recover from another bad beat.

Indeed, the club hierarchy rallied behind the team in times of crisis.
With the season entering its crunch phase, there’s little room for error.
Furthermore, Inter will take on Napoli in a top-table six-pointer in a fortnight.
But first, they must navigate a routine-looking home clash against bottom-half Genoa.
