Paris Saint-Germain have struggled to score goals in the UEFA Champions League; while that’s not a problem in Ligue 1, they must find a solution regarding their performances in Europe.

This challenge has led to speculation linking PSG to several attacking options for 2025, and the rumors could intensify if they fail to advance to the next stage of the competition.

Moreover, the capital club could be willing to offload Randal Kolo Muani, leaving a hole in their No. 9. There’s also the possibility that Gonçalo Ramos will struggle to find his form, and the inability to have a striker becomes more evident.

In his latest column for PSG Talk Extra Time, Robin Bairner of Football Transfers noted that Ipswich striker Liam Delap would be an ideal candidate to fill the goal-scoring issues that Luis Enrique and his team are having so far this season.

“The 21-year-old already has six Premier League goals this season with the weakest side in the league, has come through a Manchester City academy that has a track record of producing excellent young talent, and has a healthy positive next xG in league football this season,” Bairner wrote.

“He’s a player the Tractor Boys can ill-afford to sell if they are to stand any chance of survival, yet that might very well be beyond them by the time January rolls around, making a quick sale at a big profit potentially appealing.”
