Manchester United’s Jadon Sancho impressed in Chelsea’s 1-1 draw away to Crystal Palace yesterday.

The England international played 86 minutes of the game and received a Sofascore rating of 7.4 for his afternoon’s work.

He had one assist in the match and had two key passes in total.

His assist was a wonderful one as he dummied the ball on the halfway line and beat the Palace fullback for pace to turn and run at the defence.

Sancho then beat Chris Richards with a nice bit of skill to set up Cole Palmer for a simple finish to give the Blues the lead.

The United man was wonderful on the ball, completing 95% of his passes and created another big chance in the match that was not taken by his teammates.

He was also a constant threat to the Palace backline, completing three out of his four dribble attempts.

Meanwhile in the lower leagues, Wigan Athletic’s Joe Hugill was not given much of an opportunity to impress despite scoring after coming on from the bench in his side’s last match.

He was only given 10 minutes of action but did have a shot that was blocked in his side’s disappointing 0-3 loss to Birmingham City at home.

Hugill completed all his passes but he only managed three in a limited amount of time off the bench.

James Nolan on the other hand has recently spoken of his delight at regular football north of the border and played a key role in Inverness Caledonian Thistle’s 2-0 win over Dumbarton.

He started at left back and played the entire match, assisting his side in keeping a vital clean sheet.

Sonny Aljofree was unusually not even in the squad as Accrington Stanley beat Colchester United 2-0 away from home to move further away from the drop zone in League Two.

He will certainly aim to be back in the starting lineup when they travel to Anfield in a mouth-watering FA Cup tie next weekend.
