Jürgen Klopp to attend Paris FC vs Ajaccio as part of Red Bull duties | OneFootball

According to L’Équipe, Jürgen Klopp will be in attendance at Stade de Charléty this afternoon to watch Paris FC take on AC Ajaccio as part of the final matchday of action in Ligue 2. The visit from the former Liverpool manager falls in line with his duties controlling Red Bull’s football operation.

Following his departure from Anfield, Klopp was appointed as the Global Head of Football at Red Bull, representing the Austrian Energy Drinks giant’s several football clubs. One of these football clubs is Paris FC, after they acquired a 10% stake in the Parisian club as part of the takeover involving the Arnault family. This will be the second match the former German manager has attended in his new role, he attended a Ligue 2 match in January.

Klopp won’t be on his own at the Stade de Charléty this evening. He will be joined by former Bayern Munich striker Mario Gomez, who has taken on a technical role supervising the footballing operations of Red Bull. The former German international has also taken a seat on the board at Paris FC as part of his duties.
