After Roma’s 2-1 win over Venezia, Ivan Juric praised his men for their hard work and discipline.

In his post-match presser, Juric shared words of high praise to the youngsters and old guard in equal measure.

“Pisilli is incredible, he trains like crazy. He wants to do more than what we ask of him, he plays with joy and with a smile on his face, always,” remarked the Croatian technician.

“In my opinion he has an incredible margin for improvement, and I like him a lot.”

“However, I would also like to highlight Paredes,” he added. “There is an old guard who entered the field with the same spirit, like Bryan, who played three games in a row.”

“This group, in these ten days, has really impressed me: I like how they face each day and how they work.”

“The first two games were played very well, at important levels, but even in the more difficult ones they showed their heart.”

“Today they fought without ever giving up, and in the last 30-40 minutes they played really well.”
