Juventus are reportedly interested in signing Rasmus Hojlund from Manchester United this summer.

Hojlund has enjoyed a promising run of form in recent weeks. The Dane scored a stoppage-time equaliser in his side’s 1-1 draw at Bournemouth late in April.

The 22-year-old was also a menace for the Athletic Club backline in the first leg of the Europa League semi-finals on Thursday.

However, Hojlund, who joined United from Atalanta in the summer of 2023 for a fee in the region of £60 million, has largely been a frustrating figure up front over the last two years. Regardless, he still has his admirers back in Italy.

According to Calciomercato’s Daniele Longo, Juve have made a move for the United number nine.

It is suggested that the Old Lady are set for a “mini revolution” in attack, as Dusan Vlahovic is destined to leave the club, having decided to not renew his contract, which is due to expire next summer.

Randal Kolo Muani’s loan stint in Turin ends at the end of the season and parent club Paris Saint-Germain don’t want to send him on another loan. The French forward has also been linked with United.

Accordingly, Juve sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli has set his sights on Old Trafford to find a new goalscorer for the Serie A giants.

It is claimed that Giuntoli has made initial contact for Hojlund and after exploratory talks, the Italian outfit have decided to make a decisive move for the Denmark international.

Juventus want to act swiftly to beat competition for the ex-Atalanta star.

Interestingly, it is mentioned that their initial target was Joshua Zirkzee and the club’s sporting Guintoli even had a verbal agreement with his agent Kia Joorabchian.

However, Ruben Amorim’s arrival “changed everything”, and now Juventus’ focus is on bringing Hojlund back to Serie A.
