Bundesliga’s marksman Harry Kane discusses his Champions League disappointment and the hopes of ending his trophy drought in an interview with Absolut Fußball’s Adrian Kühnel. The England captain is on the verge of winning a team trophy for the first time in his career.

“That would be great! Maybe, it’d stop some people from talking about the fact that I haven't won a title yet,” said Kane with laughter when asked about the Meisterschale. Bayern are closing on the league title as they hold an eight-point gap from second-placed Bayer Leverkusen with only four games left to play.

“If we manage to do it, there will be a huge celebration. However, the focus will soon be on the next title. In football, there's always more to it. But, right now, it's all about the championship.”

Kane also talks about losing the Champions League quarter-final to Inter. “You're always disappointed after a defeat like that. Even though we gave it our all, we just couldn't make it to the final in our own stadium. I know the fans will always stick with us. And, I'm confident we'll come back stronger in the Champions League, too.”
