The Nerazzurri beat Feyenoord 2-1 on Tuesday, progressing to the next stage with a 4-1 aggregate win. On the other hand Bayern earned a 5-0 win aggregate victory against their domestic rivals Bayer Leverkusen.

“The most important thing was to qualify for the quarter-finals. Beating this kind of team over the two legs for 5-0 shows our worth. We deserve it, and we must enjoy it,” Kane told Sky Sport Italia.

The quarter-final first leg between Inter and Bayern will be played at the Allianz Arena in Munich on April 8 or 9, while the decider will be played at San Siro the following week.

“It’s going to be tough. Inter are the leaders in their league; they play good football and defend well, and it’s surely going to be tough, especially away at San Siro, one of the best stadiums in the world,” Kane said.

“We are in the Champions League quarter-finals, and we must face the best teams. We must enjoy this win first, and we’ll focus on it after the international break.”

Kane, 31, has scored 32 goals in 36 appearances across all competitions this season.

His Bayern Munich side are the Bundesliga leaders, enjoying an eight-point lead over Bayer Leverkusen.

Inter are the Serie A leaders with a one-point lead over second-placed Napoli. The defending champions will visit third-placed Atalanta in the next league match.
