Kylian Mbappé’s early days at Real Madrid have been somewhat rocky. Despite scoring eight goals and recording two assists in 16 appearances, the former Paris Saint-Germain star is still struggling to find consistency.
As a result, France national team manager Didier Deschamps left his captain out of the squad for the upcoming UEFA Nations League matches for the November FIFA international window.
Nonetheless, other young talents are looking to make their mark, and one player has already made history. France have a lot of talent and it speaks volumes of Warren Zaïre-Emery’s ability to crack into the first team.
Zaïre-Emery (18 years and 251 days) has become the youngest in history to reach six caps with Les Bleus, surpassing Mbappé (18 years and 257 days).
It will be interesting to see if the teenage midfielder becomes a prominent figure for the French national team much like Mbappé has turned himself into. However, at the current moment, the 25-year-old is experiencing a challenging period as a footballer.
