Leading Real Madrid star ‘is considering leaving’ this summer | OneFootball

A headline member of the attacking ranks at La Liga giants Real Madrid is taking into real consideration seeking a departure from the club this summer.

That’s according to Radio MARCA, who point towards Rodrygo as the player in question.

Frontman Rodrygo is for his part currently in the midst of one of the toughest spells of his Real Madrid career to date.

Heavily criticised for the level of his performances, the Brazilian international has at the most pivotal point of the campaign failed to step up to the plate when needed most.

And the significance of as much, evidently, has not been at all lost on the part of Rodrygo himself:

‘The Brazilian player has been locked away in his house thinking about his future. According to Radio MARCA, the Brazilian player is considering leaving Real Madrid.’

Rodrygo is understood to have grown tired of playing 2nd fiddle to the likes of Kylian Mbappé, Vinícius Jr. and Jude Bellingham, of the opinion that their styles on the pitch simply do not match up.

It is therefore concluded that, unless the incoming Xabi Alonso lays out a compelling case to convince him otherwise, Rodrygo is ready to seek out pastures new this summer.
