Harrison is keen to secure a permanent switch to the Merseyside outfit, despite his lack of success there this season.
Everton loanee Jack Harrison is keen to secure a move away from Leeds United and join the Toffees permanently in the summer.
This is according to The Athletic, who believe the wide player is keen to turn his stay at Goodison Park into a full-time move, having gone out on two loan spells to the Merseyside outfit since the Whites' relegation from the Premier League in 2023.
Harrison could have been a big miss at Elland Road, considering how much of an asset he has been for the Whites during his time in West Yorkshire.
Helping to guide the club to the top flight, he was also able to contribute at the top level for Leeds, and was seen as a key favourite to leave the club following their relegation.
But many people would have expected him to seal a permanent exit, rather than a couple of loan moves.
However, a clause in his Elland Road contract has allowed that to happen, and his deal doesn't expire until 2028, putting Daniel Farke's side in a strong negotiating position.
This may have been a key factor in the Toffees taking him on loan for the second time in the summer, rather than securing a permanent agreement.
But with new owners now in place in Merseyside, a permanent deal could be possible.
Harrison hasn't been able to make a real impact at Goodison Park this season, failing to register a single goal or assist, and his game time has been limited in recent games under David Moyes.
With this in mind, his long-term future may not be with his current loan club.
But according to The Athletic, the winger is keen to earn a permanent move there, which could open the door for a potential sale during the next window.
He may also attract other top-flight interest in the coming months, with Fulham being linked with a move for him during the most recent window.
Leeds have seen Harrison go out on two loan spells now.
And even though he was loved by fans during his time at Elland Road, it's hard to see a way back for him now.
With the player not exactly impressive on Merseyside either, Leeds should be open to a sale.
He still has more than three years left on his contract at this stage - and that should allow the Whites to secure a decent fee for him.
That money can then be reinvested back into the squad.
