That was a stroll in the park.

A potential banana skin avoided.

Whilst there’s an argument we should have improved our goal difference further.

Winning 3-0 on the road, even against a team as poor as Leicester are, is a great result.

Pope – 7

Had very little to do, but when called upon, he did well.

Showed he was alert with a good save from Jamie Vardy after just 15 seconds; a minute later we were ahead.

Livramento – 8

Great assist for the opening goal from Murphy.

I thought Tino did well both defensively and in getting forward to support Harvey Barnes.

Trippier – 7

Solid performance. Defended well.

Burn – 7

Didn’t put a foot wrong all night.

Very professional.

Nice to see BDB wearing the captain’s armband towards the end.

Schar – 7

Would have been great to see the Swiss rewarded with a goal, scored from his own half, but it wasn’t to be.

A steady performance.

Tonali -7

Another solid performance from the Italian, popping up all over the centre of the park, frustrating Leicester in the main, whilst also showing his creative side.

Sandro took a nasty knock on the shin late on but he dusted himself down and didn’t appear any worse for wear.

He maybe should have scored with the last kick of the game.

Guimaraes – 6

Below par from Guimaraes.

When you’re 3-0 up on the hour and Bruno isn’t firing on all cylinders, better to get him off and give him a break.

Well done Eddie.

Joelinton – 7

I thought Big Joe was very good, he was a constant thorn in Leicester’s side and got a deserved rest on 65 minutes.

Murphy – 8

I never thought I’d be giving the boy from Birtley my MOTM award but I am.

With a brace in the first eleven minutes, Jacob set us up to take full advantage of a very poor Leicester team.

Murphy took his first really well. Whilst it looked like a routine tap in, it wasn’t.

As for his second, what great anticipation, with the Leicester defenders stood around like statues.

Isak – 6

Very quiet on a night he could have filled his boots.

Hooked after 70 minutes, another good shout from Eddie.

Barnes – 7

I thought Harvey was really poor first half hour, apart from the link up with Tino for the first goal.

Was he trying too hard against his hometown club?

He redeemed himself by scoring on34 minutes, after which, Barnes settled into the game.

He always looked lively after that and is clearly enjoying his run in the team.

Substitutes

Miley – 6

I wish young Lewis would play the ball forward a bit more.

Thought he was steady and with the game won when he entered the fray, he maybe wasn’t able to properly express himself.

Longstaff – 6

Sean is low on confidence and it showed.

Wilson – 6

The spirit is willing but the body isn’t.

Osula – 6

Headless chicken springs to mind when I watch this lad.

Krafth – N/A

Not on long enough to rate.
