Liverpool face Wolves at the Molineux on matchweek six of the 2024/25 Premier League campaign.
Arne Slot's men will look to continue their impressive start to the season with their defeat to Nottingham Forest being the only blemish on an ecouraging start to life under the Dutchman.
Team news is becoming harder to predict week by week for Liverpool fans with numerous players that have had to settle for a place on the bench continuing to shine when they step foot onto the pitch.
Slot's selection headaches predominantly lie with his forwards who are all earning their rights to start the upcoming games.
Slot has opted a front three of Luis Diaz, Mohamed Salah and Diogo Jota have been his go-to front three this far, but Darwin Nunez, Cody Gakpo and Federico Chiesa are all knocking on the door.
Gakpo netted a brace against West Ham in midweek, Nunez scored on his first start against Bournemouth last weekend whilst Chiesa registered his first Liverpool assist on Wednesday.
Ahead of last weekend's clash with Bournemouth, Conor Bradley's fantasy Premier League team somewhat gave away Slot's decision to drop Jota in favour of handing Nunez his first start of the season.
The defender had transferred in Nunez ahead of the matchweek hinting at who would spearhead the Liverpool attack.
The Uruguayan repaid the favour to his manager as he struck a wonderful left-footed effort into the top corner from the right-flank.
However, Bradley may have indicated where Nunez will start the Reds' clash against Wolves on Saturday.
A week on from transferring Liverpool's number nine into his team, the Northern Irish international has now transferred Nunez back out of his team suggesting Jota will start at the forefront of the Reds' attack.
