Every Liverpool fan knows that Salah is the best in the world at the moment.
Despite the constant speculation about his future at Liverpool, with a potential move to Saudi Arabia on the cards, Salah has been the standout player across Europe’s top five leagues this season.
The Egyptian King has ten goals and ten assists in 17 games across all competitions this season. He's two ahead of Erling Haaland for goal contributions in the Premier League and is taking his game to another level in the search for trophies this season.
Salah has matured into one of the most complete attackers the Premier League has ever seen, and is just as important in defence and as a target for Liverpool's defenders to get the side up the pitch as he is in attack with his goals and assists. He also loves Liverpool, and has stayed at home during this international break to rest ahead of the rest of the season.
Talks are reportedly set to take place to try and agree an extension that will keep Salah at Liverpool for a number of seasons but progress appears to be stalling.
Despite his continued greatness, Salah is often overlooked for individual awards. He wasn’t included on either of the shortlists for the Ballon D’Or or CAF African Player of the Year this year having been snubbed for players like Artym Dovbyk and Amine Gouiri.
However, it looks like Salah has been handed a big boost amidst all the contract speculation, having finally been nominated for some awards.
