Manchester City avenged the weekend WSL defeat by Manchester United to set up a Subway Women’s League Cup semi-final with Arsenal.
Chelsea 5-0 Durham Manchester United 1-2 Manchester City Brighton & Hove Albion 0-4 Arsenal Tottenham Hotspur 1-2 West Ham United
Manchester City Laura Coombs gave City a 12th-minute lead from a Lily Murphy cross. Millie Turner equalized, only for Murphy to restore the visitors’ advantage with a solo effort in first-half added time.
Arsenal’s Mariona Caldentey made two goals and set up another, as the Gunners went through 4-0 at Brighton. Frida Leonhardsen Maanum made the breakthrough after 65 minutes, Katie McCabe, Kyra Cooney-Cross and Caldentey adding one apiece within 20 minutes of the opener.

West Ham came from behind to win at Tottenham, who had taken a 10th-minute lead through Martha Thomas. The Hammers went in 2-1 up at the break as Seraina Piubel equalised and then Kirsty Smith buried a free kick in a five-minute spell. Matilda Vinberg almost forced extra time but Megan Walsh reacted sharply to turn her header over the bar.

Chelsea ran out 5-0 winners over Championship side Durham, to book a semi-final with West Ham. Aggie Beever-Jones opened the scoring for the hosts after 21 minutes, Oriane Jean-Francois doubling the lead just after the hour mark. Erin Cuthbert, Guro Reiten and Maika Hamano added one each in quick succession.
