Atalanta have been in talks with Ederson’s agent for several weeks over a new contract, but the midfielder is reportedly tempted by the prospect of playing in the Premier League, despite strong interest from Juventus as well.

The Brazilian’s current contract at the Gewiss Stadium runs until 2027, but several clubs have been closely monitoring the 25-year-old, who has emerged as one of the most complete midfielders in Europe, standing out with his impressive performances.

Man Utd could frustrate Juventus’ efforts to sign Atalanta’s Ederson

Manchester City, Liverpool, and Real Madrid have all been linked with a move for Ederson, but according to Calciomercato.com, Manchester United are currently seen as the frontrunners, as they are reportedly preparing a €60 million bid that could be enough to persuade Atalanta to sell their star next summer.

Juventus director Cristiano Giuntoli is a strong admirer of the versatile midfielder and is prepared to do everything within his power to bring him to the Allianz Stadium.

However, Manchester United could capitalise on Ederson’s desire to test himself in the Premier League, as well as Atalanta’s reluctance to sell another star to Juventus following Teun Koopmeiners, to secure a deal.
