Manchester City and AC Milan have reached an agreement regarding a loan move for England international fullback Kyle Walker (34), according to a report from L’Equipe. The 34-year-old is set to arrive in Lombardy this Wednesday to secure his move to Sergio Conceição’s Rossoneri for his first playing experience abroad. The former Tottenham Hotspur defender previously informed Manchester City head coach Pep Guardiola of his wish to leave the Premier League champions.
On Sunday, L’Equipe previously reported that Walker had reached an agreement on personal terms with AC Milan. Now, both Manchester City and the 7-time Champions League winners have agreed to the terms of Walker’s transfer. AC Milan sent City an initial loan offer with achievable terms, which would see a purchase clause activated and Walker join the Serie A giants on a permanent basis. The outlet understands that, barring any hiccups during Walker’s medical, the England right-back will join Milan.
