Hugo Ekitiké (22) is the subject of interest from Manchester United, according to a report from Sky Sports Germany journalist Florian Plettenberg.
Ekitike joined Eintracht Frankfurt, initially on loan before making the move permanent in the summer for just over €16m. In his first full season in the Bundesliga, he has excelled and his club may already be ready to cash in on the player. Plettenberg understands that Ekitike is likely to leave this summer, just one year after making his move to Frankfurt permanent.
The free-scoring Frenchman is valued at €80m by the Bundesliga side. Manchester United, who have struggled domestically this season, are in the market for a centre-forward this summer and have identified Ekitiké as a target. He is one of four targets. As per Plettenberg, RB Leipzig’s Benjamin Sesko, Sporting’s Viktor Gyökerers and Victor Osminhen, currently on loan at Galatasaray from Napoli, are also of interest to the Red Devils.
