Claudio Ranieri hinted at Roma’s process of looking for the next long-term head coach that will lead the team next season.
With Ranieri’s coaching spell set to come to an end at the end of the season, the Giallorossi are already holding discussions around the technician’s successor.
According to Il Messaggero, Ranieri as the club’s senior executive will likely point to Massimiliano Allegri as his top choice.
The former Juventus boss is eager to return to work and would prefer to remain in Italy where he has been repeatedly linked with Roma.
The club also seem keen on Allegri given his extensive experience and leadership style.
