Mbappé reunion cancelled | OneFootball

Having both played at Paris Saint-Germain last season, Kylian Mbappé (25) and Ethan Mbappé (17) went their separate ways this summer. Both left PSG, the former joining Real Madrid on a free transfer, with the latter joining Lille OSC, also on a free transfer.

However, with the two Mbappé brothers now competing in different leagues in different countries there was the chance of a reunion next Wednesday with Lille set to face Real Madrid in the UEFA Champions League. The stage had been set for a reunion, but Kylian’s injury has scuppered it.

Having injured his hamstring, the Real Madrid forward is set for around three weeks out, ruling him out of the fixture against Les Dogues, as well as the upcoming international break, with Les Bleus set to face Israel and Belgium in the UEFA Nations League. A return date of 20th October, which comes just after the international break, has been touted.
