Napoli star Scott McTominay is close to equalling his personal record for league goals, having already netted six times in Serie A this term.

The Scotland international is one goal away from equalling his personal record for league goals in one season, which he established at Manchester United in 2023-24 by scoring seven goals.

The former Red Devil has already bagged six Serie A goals this season, so he’ll equal his personal record with his next strike.

Napoli’s next opponents are Cesc Fabregas’ Como, the team against which McTominay scored his first Serie A goal in October.

As reported by Corriere dello Sport, Milan’s Tijjani Reijnders is the only midfielder with more goals than McTominay in Serie A this season, but the Scotland star has the most away goals: four.

McTominay has made 22 Serie A appearances for Napoli, adding four assists to his six goals. He has also played two matches in Coppa Italia, netting once. His total for the season stands at 24 games, seven goals, and four assists.
